Smaller rim smoother ride
Webb19 juni 2016 · Addisonbrady. I am getting ready to get a lift kit for my YJ, maybe a 2.5 or 3.5. My local mechanic claims that when you install a lift, that it's better to go with a smaller rim, which in my case is the stock 15, that this will provide a smoother less bouncy ride. I guess due to the amount of air and mass of the tire above the rim.
