WebAug 3, 2007 · A syncro'd GForce trans should be just as strong as the dogring GForce. The syncro/dogring(aka faceplating) is just for ease of shifting, mainly at higher RPMs. The general belief is that syncronized transmissions run into trouble when powershifting at about 6500rpm and higher.
